Regional Sales Manager - Building Materials
Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our customer, a major subsidiary of a globally leading Fortune Global 500 building material group. We are seeking a highly capable, strategic, and growth-oriented Regional Sales Manager, Building Materials to lead the planning, development, and management of the company’s sales and service network.
In this key role, your work will serve as the cornerstone of our customer’s business success. We need an expert who is deeply familiar with the local manufacturing sector, possesses an established industry network, and brings exceptional business development and high-level negotiation capabilities.
The core objective is to successfully identify, screen, and onboard premium partners, build a high-quality, sustainable sales network that guarantees the achievement of sales, after-sales service, and customer experience targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive, in-depth analysis of the local market landscape, consumer preferences, and competitor network.
• Proactively identify, screen, and maintain a robust database of high-quality potential partners utilizing industry networks, trade shows, professional associations, and commercial data.
• Conduct rigorous evaluations of potential partners’ creditworthiness, financial health, operational capabilities, and overall market reputation.
• Successfully onboard regional partners who meet strict brand standards and establish a sustainable, top-tier sales and service network.
• Supervise, mentor, and manage a sales management team, fostering a collaborative, results-driven environment.
• Ensure all regional sales targets, after-sales service metrics, and customer experience objectives are consistently met or exceeded.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering & Technical Fields or Business & Economic Sciences, such as Civil Engineering, Architecture / Interior Architecture, Materials Science and Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration / Management, Economics, International Trade and Logistics.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the local market, with at least 3 years dedicated specifically to sales network development or B2B sales management.
• Proven track record within the building materials and decorative materials industries, with experience targeting major manufacturing companies.
• Local, active, existing client base and established industry-level resources and experience in adjacent industries are considered strong assets.
• Full professional fluency in both English and Turkish.
• Exceptional skills in high-stakes business negotiation, financial analysis, and contract management.
• Ability to adapt to frequent business travel and on-site assignments.
