We are seeking an experienced Safety Director for our customer, who is a technology-focused company dedicated to innovation, delivering high-quality services in a rapidly evolving industry landscape. The ideal candidate will lead the company’s safety efforts, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a proactive, safety-first culture across all operations. They should have deep expertise in HSE compliance, ISO 14001 and 45001 standards, and a strong background in safety leadership within the oil & gas and construction industries.
Location: Onsite, Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with safety laws, regulations, and company policies
Develop and implement safety plans, procedures, and training programs
Lead investigations and root cause analysis for incidents and near-misses
Oversee accident prevention, inspections, and corrective actions
Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses
Collaborate with departments to ensure consistent safety standards
Monitor safety performance and drive continuous improvement
Manage safety reporting and present findings to leadership
Set up project-specific HSE programs aligned with organizational goals
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Safety Engineering
15+ years of HSE experience, including 5+ years in a similar leadership role
Strong background in oil & gas shutdowns/turnarounds
Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001; NEBOSH or OSHA certified
In-depth knowledge of OSHA guidelines and construction safety
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
