Safety Director

We are seeking an experienced Safety Director for our customer, who is a technology-focused company dedicated to innovation, delivering high-quality services in a rapidly evolving industry landscape. The ideal candidate will lead the company’s safety efforts, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a proactive, safety-first culture across all operations. They should have deep expertise in HSE compliance, ISO 14001 and 45001 standards, and a strong background in safety leadership within the oil & gas and construction industries.

Location: Onsite, Saudi Arabia

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with safety laws, regulations, and company policies

• Develop and implement safety plans, procedures, and training programs

• Lead investigations and root cause analysis for incidents and near-misses

• Oversee accident prevention, inspections, and corrective actions

• Conduct risk assessments and job hazard analyses

• Collaborate with departments to ensure consistent safety standards

• Monitor safety performance and drive continuous improvement

• Manage safety reporting and present findings to leadership

• Set up project-specific HSE programs aligned with organizational goals

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Safety Engineering

• 15+ years of HSE experience, including 5+ years in a similar leadership role

• Strong background in oil & gas shutdowns/turnarounds

• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001; NEBOSH or OSHA certified

• In-depth knowledge of OSHA guidelines and construction safety

• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
