Job Description
We are searching for a “Supplier Development Unit Engineer” for one of our international customers which serves in automotive supply industry nearly 40 years.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Conduct technical assessments of potential and existing suppliers, evaluating their capabilities and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and communicate technical requirements for products and components.
- Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers throughout the production process, including design, manufacturing, and testing phases.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of supplier facilities to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Participate in supplier selection and evaluation processes, contributing technical expertise to the decision-making process.
- Act as a liaison between the company and suppliers, facilitating clear communication and addressing technical queries or concerns.
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Material-Metallurgical, Electrical and Electronics or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management or a related technical role
- Fluent in English both written and spoken
- Strong team management, coordination, and planning skills
- Strong technical knowledge in Automotive industry.
- Proficient in ERP systems, Project Launch and Quality Management Systems.
- Ability to travel to supplier locations as needed. (including Europe and the Far East).
- Certification in [relevant certification, e.g., Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)].
- Experience working with automotive mechanisms production.
