Job Description
We are looking for a Software Developer in Test - Java for our customer’s R&D team who focuses on the fields of electrification, automation and digitalization.
Requirements:
- BSc. / MSc. in Computer Engineering, Control Engineering, Electrical and Electronics
- Engineering or equivalent experience
- Good command of English is a must
- Proven 3+ years of experience in Software Development and Test Engineering
- Knowledge and experience in Java programming language must
- Knowledge and experience in code debugging
- Strong knowledge in Software QA methodologies, tools and processes required
- Knowledge and experience in Ethernet, Switching and Routing Technologies is a plus
- Knowledge and experience in Git is a plus
- Knowledge and experience in Batch/PowerShell scripting is a plus
- Experience in Test Automation and CI tools (Jenkins etc.) is a plus
- Knowledge and experience in SCALANCE device family is a plus
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain test automation code base
- Ensure efficient and effective execution of test activities for the project
- Define test requirements, write and execute manual and automated test cases
- Converting acceptance criteria, product designs and functional details into test cases
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
