Job Description

We are seeking a "Platform After-Sales Specialist" for our client, Turkey's largest industrial consortium that shapes the country's industrial market. 

  

This role is responsible for supporting the business development and category development efforts of our customer's Joint Procurement Platform and ensuring the smooth execution and compliance of incoming requests with commitments.

 

Category Management Support Function: 

  • Coordinate the process among the supplier, customer, and internal stakeholders after receiving order confirmation from the customer. 
  • Responsible for managing, tracking, and improving all post-order processes in all categories of projects offered through the e-commerce infrastructure. 
  • Responsible for organizing any additional customer requests (such as shipment dates or sample arrangements) with the supplier/partner and ensuring the order aligns with the request during and after the order process. 
  • Responsible for planning logistics and shipment post-order process to ensure the best terms and prices. 
  • Work with suppliers designated by category management to obtain prices for customer requests and offer the most favorable terms. 
  • Responsible for managing post-order invoice processes and payment tracking, and informing the relevant contacts for payment arrangements. 
  • Support ERP and CRM processes to ensure supplier and customer records are accurate and complete in the system, keeping CRM customer information updated and taking action on any changes in email or phone details. 
  • Support the category manager in price collection and comparison for requests for products not readily available in the portfolio. 
  • Provide technical and process support in AI-driven auction processes aligned with the monthly supply calendar, and assist the category manager with documentation and suggestions. 
  • Responsible for calculating supplier/partner entitlements and preparing invoices.

  • Detail-oriented and capable of closely tracking process steps. 
  • Strong communication skills, able to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Comfortable and able to build and develop dialogue with suppliers and customers. 
  • Eager in process management and continuous improvement. 
  • Willing to work with agile methods.

  • Platform Director & Business Development and Category Development Managers, 
  • Finance Team, 
  • Company Management. 

External Stakeholders: 

  • Suppliers/Partners, 
  • Customers (Purchasing, Finance, and Logistics teams), 
  • 3PL Warehouse and Transportation service providers. 

 

Education: 

  • Graduate from a four-year university with a degree in a quantitative field, 
  • Proficient in English. 

Work Experience: 

  • 2-3 years of experience in a corporate company, 
  • Experience in purchasing processes, 
  • Participated in continuous improvement projects within companies.
